• How do you feel you have grown as a learner from your honey bee experience?
I have grown a lot because I learned not to be scared of bees because they don't want to hurt you the won't sting unless you hurt them or make them nervous. I have also grown by learning to be nice to them because if they go extinct in ten years so will we. Bee's pollenate flowers, fruits, veggies, and trees. I feel closer to honey bees because I know that they are most of the time harmless.
  • Does your group work well together? Why or why not?
My group is geocaching and there are four people in this group: Mika, Carina, Phillip, and I. Yes, we do work good together but it was could that we split up into twos so we could kill two birds with one stone. Carina and I work on the questions and Mika and Phillip worked on the website and where the caches were going to be.
  • What has been your favorite part of this challenge
My favorite part is the honey bees and learning about CCD. I feel good that I am participating in something very important. I see on TV it talks about how you can make this world a better place. My class has been going and telling people around michigan about honey bees and what we are doing.
  • What is your overall individual goal for this class?
Well, like everybody elses its to save the honey bees from CCD. Another goal is to tell the world about what is happening through having fun, for example geocaching. People need to stop being scared of honey bees and stop killing them and just leave them alone.
